Welcome to the homepage of the Tees Personal Watercraft Club, We are a small club compared to some of the others in the country and we are always looking for new members. Our club is promoting jetskiing on Teesside and this year we are planning to hold a round of the Freestyle National Tour. In the past 9 Years the River Tees has held one of the rounds of the British Championship.
The club consists of both Stand up craft and Sitdowns (runabouts) and has members who are both interested in Freestyle and Racing and also some pure recreational riders. Our club has a mix of people and also a lot of our members also use Redcar beach for launching from so to know these people can be a good help if you plan on venturing in the sea for the first time.
The use of the Barrage is only for riders who are members of the TPWC, also there are other users from different clubs who use the water but for safety we all use it at different times, other users on the river are Waterskiiers, Rowers, Dragon boaters and canoesists.
For more information on joining the club check out the memberships page.

Freestyle National Tour stops off at the Barrage again this year UKs and Europes biggest freestyle meet last season the FNT was dominated by Jack moule at the age of 14 years, he certainly gave the older guys a lesson in Freestyle. There is also a slalom competition for sit down and stand up skis that anyone can take part in. See the website for information.
One of our members Jay is making very good headway in this competition having taken himself to the top of the Amateur competition after the 2nd round and leading by 2 points which has made it very tight competition. Well done!!!!!
Anyone is welcome to take part in the FNT club member or not (you must bring insurance) and this year they have changed the format a bit, There is now free entry into any class that you want when you enter one competition. Only thing is there is a twist!!!!!! The competition that you choose will be held on a stock Yamaha Superjet that has been supplied to FNT by Yamaha UK. Should be interesting..
